Jeff
Nasstrom, D.O.
Dr. Nasstrom was born in Fridley, Minnesota. He graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and then completed his medical schooling at Des Moines University. Dr. Nasstrom completed his residency training at Broadlawns, Des Moines, Iowa and is board certified in Family Practice. Hussien Mohamed, M.D., FACS., PhD,
Dr. Hussein Mohamed, an Egyptian native, is an American Board certified physician. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a Member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons and the American Society of Transplantation.
He graduated with honors from Ain-Shams Medical School in Cairo, Egypt in 1986. He completed an internship and surgical residency training at Ain-Shams University Hospitals. During that period of training he earned a Master degree in Management of Colorectal Cancer.
In early 1991, Dr. Mohamed began work on his Ph.D. in the field of Liver Transplantation and Hepatitis C Infection as a joint-project between Ain-Shams University and Pittsburgh University, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his education in 1995.
From 2000-2004, Dr. Mohamed furthered his medical training and attended Medical University of South Carolina. It was there that he became interested in laparoscopic surgery, in particular the laparoscopic donor nephrectomy and bariatric surgery. The Bariatric Surgery Center at MUSC, is a Center of Excellence, performing about 200 surgeries per year.
In addition to General surgery, DR. Mohamed has experience in hepatobiliary surgery, pancreatic surgey, Bariatric surgery as well as Laparoscopic Surgery (Cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernial repair, Colectomy, Nissen Fundoplication, cystectomy, exploration….)

Robert Roggensack, O.D.

Jean Lunde was born in Hampton, Iowa. She graduated from the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing as an RN in 1967. She worked in the Osage Medical Group as a staff RN until 1992, when she left to attend the University of North Dakota. In 1993, she graduated and received her Physician Assistant Certification. Marc E. Waitek, PA-c
Marc Waitek, born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa received his Physician Assistant Certification from the University of North Dakota in May 1984. Marc has emergency room, orthopedic, surgical, and family practice experience. He served the Dumont rural health clinic and Hampton region for 14 years before joining the staff of Mitchell County Regional Health Center. Marc is an Assistant Scout Master, enjoys waterfowl hunting, fishing, canoeing, and hiking. He has a long time interest in finding and restoring old British Land Rovers.
