MCRHC TO BEGIN WALK-IN CLINIC HOURS IN OSAGE
On Monday, October 12, Mitchell County Regional Health Center’s Osage Clinic will begin a walk-in clinic for medical treatment of acute illnesses. The hours for the clinic will be 7:00 to 8:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
The walk-in clinic hours will be available for treatment of illnesses, such as fever, cough, earaches and pink eye. Patients will be treated on a first-come, first-serve basis. For regular exams and physicals, patients will need to schedule an appointment during normal clinic hours.
“The walk-in clinic hours are for people who are suffering from an illness and don’t want to wait for an opening in the clinic schedule later in the day,” explained Pam Kinsinger, Clinic Cluster Manager. “We are trying to help those people get started on a treatment for their illness as soon as possible. Hopefully, by providing these hours, we can help get kids back to school and parents back to work a little sooner.”
